In August of 2009, the United States government could no longer deny to the world that
alien robots existed. Rising again for revenge, The Fallen had revived an eerie prophecy
and almost deprived Earth of its Sun. Fortunately, Optimus Prime, the Autobots, and Sam
Witwicky were able to rise up to the occasion and stop him. The N.E.S.T. (Nonbiological
Extraterrestrial Species Treaty) organization helped considerably as well, and despite the
hardships the Decepticon forces presented, everyone left the battle on "good" terms.
Sam Witwicky went back to college, and his new popularity was off the charts. N.E.S.T. and
the Autobots continued with their work of destroying the Decepticon forces which still idly
processed on Earth; and for about a month, things were looking pretty good for everyone.
However, with the knowledge of Megatron's survival still lingering in the dark corners of
everyone's mind, everyone knew it would not be peaceful forever. And it wasn't. After a
month of doing nothing but killing the scattered Decepticon forces, N.E.S.T. and Autobots
alike were a bit surprised to see the level of Decepticon forces slowly climbing. These sudden
numbers were startling and placed humanity in a whole new danger... again. More and more
Decepticons have continued to land on Earth with purposes unclear.
To match this new threat the Autobots have brought in some new 'bots of their own,
stationing them all around the world at Decepticon "hot spots". Unfortunately, with
more robot activity comes more media involvement. In the earlier weeks of September,
a band of Decepticons attacked an oil refinery in Anacortes, Washington. The robots
left the location a wreck and there were few fatalities -- even with N.E.S.T. and Autobot
intervention. News medias (having dealt with the earlier crisis of the Fallen) took this
information and twisted it to make both robot fractions appear as harmful. This didn't
hurt Decepticon egos, however, it did cause trouble for the Autobots. With a level of
distrust among human civilians, Autobots find it harder to navigate through larger cities
with ease. It also creates difficulties when performing operations with members of the
N.E.S.T. team, as a few have become persuaded by propaganda ideas.
Human civilians are put at risk once again and Decepticon occupation has begun to steadily
cause anxiety among Earth's national leaders. The rise of an unknown threat lead by
Megatron is daunting. If Autobots and humans alike can't work together, what will become
of Earth? Are you willing to rise to the occasion? THIS IS OUR FATE.
