A lot can happen in 17 years, yet those events that transpired over a decade and a half ago will not soon be forgotten.
The fall of the Dark Lord Voldemort at the hands, yet again, of Harry Potter at the famous wizarding school is one of the greatest tales of modern magical history - and yet even then there are vital omissions in its retelling. Few, very few, live who know the full tale, and none whom one would share pleasant conversation and company with.
It is no secret that Bellatrix Lestrange had a great love for Voldemort, but what remains a secret was that he loved her too - at the very least, he saw her as a means to an end, a pureblood witch and way of continuing his line. A child was conceived mere days before the final battle, a girl with unusual talents and all of her parents deviousness. Cassandra, as she was named, was saved by a most unlikely source and placed in an orphanage, upon her parents’ deaths, for her own protection.
Draco Malfoy remains the sole man in knowledge of his actions and has sworn himself to secrecy, with the pretence of reform… but old habits die hard, as they say…
Cassandra, now in her final year at Hogwarts, yearns for knowledge of her heritage - her adoptive parents unaware of her family connections - picking up several vital clues along the years, and is insatiable in her lust for power, collecting followers to her due to her talents as a seer and picking on those she deems unworthy of magical education. And with the godson of none other than Harry Potter in such close proximity, in her very year at school, where better to start on her quest for power and knowledge?
