They say that some men are born great while others spend their lives striving for greatness. It is unclear to this day which applies to Thomas Van Ross, a man who dedicated his life to solving every little mystery that comes his way. Having studied both psychology and forensics to doctorate level, he found himself in high demand from law enforcement and government agencies all over the globe, each wanting him to use his extensive knowledge and out of the box thinking to help them solve crimes. Soon he began to realize that people such as himself were a very useful commodity and very much needed in a society that was losing its battle against the criminal element.
In 2003, with the money he had earned he set up the Van Ross Agency in Chicago Illinois, a private firm that would hire out its employees all across the world to assist in cases that regular law enforcement couldn’t or wouldn’t solve, as well as assisting in more private matters. Prospective employees were handpicked from around the world and only the best and brightest in their fields were offered positions, everyone with an eye for detail and a logical mind. Over time the agency expanded, hiring not only specialists in academic and psychological fields, but crime scene investigators and agents to work alongside regular law enforcement agencies. Soon enough the work load had become so big that a second Van Ross Agency was set up in New York.
Now, six years on, there are eleven Van Ross Agencies in three different countries around the world, each taking on and solving hundreds of cases every year. But for every criminal that gets sent down, two more seem to spring up, their crimes becoming more and more extreme. It’s a tough job, but someone has to save the world from those with their BLACK HEARTS AND SHATTERED HALOS.

We are an intermediate level board based loosely on shows like CSI, The Mentalist, Lie to Me and Bones and are constantly looking for new and dedicated writers who love procedural cop shows as much as we do and who aren’t afraid to jump into some heavy and dramatic plotting.
