It was well passed 11 as a fairly well dressed figure made his way through the nearly empty streets. Even though it was the dead of night, stars shown in the large Texas sky, easily leading the way to the town pools. It was a fairly common meeting place for the people here and one of Luke's favorite hot spots at night.

Lucca was a 6 foot, extremely irresistibe cad that had made this town home for the past year. Most of the people loved and hated him for many different reasons. To some he was sweeter than honey, where others considered him a demon in disguise. He brought pleasure and pain wherever he went and most couldn't handle him. What most weren't aware of, though, was how close they were to the truth. In some ways he was a demon...He was a guy that didn't deny any of his desires..He was a Vampire.

He had been forcibly changed at the age of 16 by the wish of his father. He had been gifted with the talent of feeling projection prior to it, but his father thought it best to turn him as well. Later he realized it had all been an experiment for the profit of one of his businesses. A way to let the gifted gain power while keeping what they had.

Soon after they had parted ways and he found himself here, free to do as he wanted for the most part, thinking he was the best around for miles. Well that was until he met the lovely Payne. Even her name spoke volumes, which made him want her more. The odd thing was so far she had resisted his advances..but not tonight. Tonight he would have her.

That's why he was making himself comfortable in one of the pool chairs as he waited. He had texted her to meet him here for a surprise..He surely would give her one. After a few minutes, he slowly got up as he heard her footsteps..It was nw time for the real fun to begin...

Victoria was having another one of those nights, where she just couldn't bring herself to crawl into bed at the proper hour and sleep like she should be doing. Sure, eleven at night wasn't exactly late but she hardly slept as it was. She constantly had the strangest dreams and thoughts and they'd been happening for the last few years. But she'd learned to just live with them and while she wished to find out some meaning behind them she really hadn't. She sighed softly as she drove her way through town after leaving her apartment, running her fingers through her hair and biting her bottom lip. She was on the way to the swimming pool, swimming always seemed to clear her head and relax her. Then again there was someone there who would probably bring out the opposite effect in her but right now she didn't mind, she'd just deal with what ever happened the way she always did. Or she could set his swim trunks on fire, either way it might be fun to see what events take place tonight.

She hummed a little in the quiet nature of the car, pulling into the parking lot of the swimming pool. The parking lot was empty save a car here for there but it usually always was cleared out by now. Unless some kids decided to come down here and have a party of something, it was a twenty four hour place after all. She looked at her hand a moment, placing some fire across it a moment and chuckling at the tingling feeling of it. Fire didn't really bother her anymore like it did in the beginning, she was used to the feeling and it didn't exactly burn her so it was all alright. She turned off her car, slipping out and tightening the jacket around her a moment. She grabbed the duffel bag out of the trunk of her car and entered the building, heading into the locker room and changing into her swim suit. It was a simple two piece suit in a green camouflage pattern, one of her favorite suits out of the ones that she owned.

She wrapped her big white fluffy towel around her and went out to the pool room with her casual smirk on her lips. Scanning the room a moment she noticed him lounging there in a pool chair and she rolled her eyes with a laugh. As she walked closer to him he managed to notice her so surprise was out the window, then again she knew surprising him and scaring him by doing so would be hard. "And the Queen has arrived, please bow and kiss the imaginary ring." she chuckled, holding out her hand and sticking her nose in the air like she'd seen some random Queen do in some random movie she saw the other night.
