THE CANONS?!

What are canons? They are pre-made characters with special abilities/rank and personalities. Also most of them have ties to others that are specified here, we love original characters but throwing canons in to spice it up are fun as well. We won't have too many canons right away, as we want people to get creative and immerse their own characters in.

We want to allow you to have fun with your canon but try not to tweak them too much. You can tweak their personality a little bit -- but try to stay on the main points. Anything else is pretty much up to you.

We are accepting CANONS AND ORIGINAL characters at this time -- so you can choose. Both FEMALE AND MALE characters are accepted as well.

THE GIFTED

VICTORIA PAYNE is kind when she wants to be, she's loyal to her friends above herself and would rather see them happy. she is a rare type of gifted, with her naturally dark hair as most have lighter colored hair. that and she is what is called, thrice gifted; meaning she has three powers. it is believed that she is tied to the ancients and is another reason she is boss of serenity, only the ancient rulers had more then one power. as far as shape shifting goes she can transform into a wolf with fur nearly as dark as her own hair.

JACKSON is still young and having a hard time control her power, hears thoughts when she doesn't want to and gets a rather big headache off of it. she's begun to develop sort of a pill habit to deal with the pain. she's naturally quite sweet and polite to people, she was taught to have manners and respect especially around those older then her.

SALVATORE is a kind guy on the surface, he's quite smart and excelled in school. he has never really had great control over his ability, which makes him feel weak. he is out raged at what the exterminators stand for and it's bringing out an anger out in him that he doesn't like. he's started to drink a bit more then he should from time to time to deal with his issues. like VICTORIA he's got darker hair and dark eyes to boot.

ST. BURG has never really liked being what he is, but he developed his power a bit earlier then other gifted. when he was nine he was dared to jump off a roof by some of his friends and instead of falling, he flew; right into the tree near his house and he's still got a few scars from it. he's prefer to be normal as he can be and doesn't use his power often which is why he still doesn't have the best control over it when he does use it. he's generally a nice guy but has a short fuse and angers easy.

MURRAY is a quiet girl naturally, one who'd rather be at home with a book then out at a party or with large crowds. she was once a powerful gifted, able to communicate with animals; but then she was bitten and turned into a lycan. she hates what she is now and misses her power, she's become slightly more depressed and still has nightmares about the attack. turned when she was nineteen.

ANDREWS is a woman that craves power, she always has. she's jealous of those with power and has gotten into more then one fight with those that are gifted. she believes herself to be the most important person in the world, her father was the original boss of the pack before he was killed in a violent train accident believed to be set up by the exterminators. she hates them with a passion and wishes to seek revenge. she's a flirt and has a reputation of sleeping with quite a lot of guys.

MCQUEEN is a very silly young man, he loves pranks and humor above so much else and loves being the center of attention. his parents were killed by exterminators when he was twelve and at school, he was adopted by a human couple who had no idea what he is and so he goes out of his way to hide it from them every month because he doesn't want them to hate him. he craves attention and love from others and hates having people dislike him.

WILLIAMS is a man in the dark, he's got no idea what he is and just thinks he was attacked by an ugly wolf. every month since he was twenty four he's felt strange for a few days and just thinks he's losing his mind. he really wants to find answers but so far has yet to find any he's willing to believe.

THE VAMPIRES

RENEGADE(1) is a young vampire, born into the life style and she craved human blood from donors rather then blood banks or animals. she's got quite the blood lust and her actions have gotten her in trouble with the older vampires in the past. she's kind when she wants to be and tends to stick to vampire company above all else. she can be civil with RENEGADE(2) but for the most part she hates her for being half breed makes fun of her human mother.

HARVEY is a very sweet girl, which can make her an easy target for some. she loves caring for others and misses her human life from time to time but knows there is no getting it back. she's trying to be a good person and prefers to drink the blood of animals, though feels guilty about it, or get blood from a blood bank. she's got a slight crush on another vampire, who was turned like she was but is too shy to do anything about it. she was seventeen when she was turned and has no idea who her sire is.

GILBERT has never really been one to make the best choices in life. he's glad that when he was changed he was able to retain his gift though it's not as strong as it was before he became a vampire. he tries not taking blood from humans unless they are willing, often during sex, and will buy from a blood bank if he has to. he was twenty six when he was changed. turned by ST. JAMES.

ST. JAMES has never really liked to settle on anything, he likes being spontaneous and rambunctious. he loves to flirt with both males and females and is a bit of a whore. he's jealous of the gifted but doesn't like to show it, or any real emotions to anyone else. he likes to think of GILBERT as a son and views him as one of his closest friends and confidants but tends to treat him poorly in public because of his natural ass-hole attitude.

MARKUMS as always been a persistent young woman and she enjoys being what she is, even if she can never remember the things she does and hates feeling weak after. she hates vampires with a passion, like she believes all lycans should. she doesn't mind the gifted, seeing as her mother is one of them and isn't sure what to think of most humans because of the exterminators. like all half breeds with lycan and gifted blood, she has no power and is slightly jealous of her mother's power of plant manipulation.

RENEGADE(2) is certainly older then her half sister but is hated by her, which makes her sad. she loves her sister even if the woman hates her. RENEGADE(2) is a quiet but kind woman which is probably why she won't hate her sister no matter what and holds hope that the woman will like her some day. even with how kind she is though she's extremely temperamental and gets angry easily, though she hates her anger. her father killed her mother shortly after she was born. she is a flirt and likes being in a relationship, she hates being alone and is sometimes manipulative to get her way. she caught on to someone abusing their child and killed the man doing the abusing and has been close to VON STURGE ever since.

JACOBS has always been one to love the lime light, he loves being the center of attention. he loves playing his music and singing for crowds, hearing them cheer for him just boosts his ego. he can be kind to some people and strangely looks up to VICTORIA PAYNE. he hates being told he's wrong and has a bit of a drinking problem, though he fails to acknowledge it as a problem; more of a hobby. even though he doesn't change during the full moon, he still feels slightly enraged before it and somewhat weaker after and he does have a bit of enhanced strength and other senses. he's also noticed he heals just a bit quicker then your average human would.

TUDOR is a very quiet guy and prefers to stay off in a corner by himself, most of the time sketching or taking pictures of random things. he had a little sister who was three years his junior (younger then him) but she died back when he was ten and he misses her every day of his life. that was pretty much the time he started to pull into himself. being a half breed his power isn't extremely strong and thanks to his vampire side he has a strange blood lust that he tries to ignore but can't from time to time.

PHILLIPS is a quiet man, keeping mostly to himself or those in his inner circle. he is young still and isn't the type to stick to one woman, some call him a womanizer. he hates the fact that he's not the boss of serenity but keeps that to himself and isn't exactly against the exterminators if it gets VICTORIA PAYNE out of his way. most of the time people can either find him in the park sketching or in The Dig late at night reading. Being a half breed it's harder for him to tap into his ability and shift, which makes him hate his human father.

THE HUMANS

* enjoys vampires, sees them as myths though.
MURPHY has always been a bright girl, good grades and a sweet attitude. she's always liked reading up on vampires and watching old time vampire movies. but she still believes them to be just myths, which saddens her. she thinks the things that go on in the world is just bad luck and thinks of the dead bodies as horrible casualties and such.

* neutral but slightly supports exterminators
* looks up to QUIN
COLLINS is hardly someone that completely thinks for herself. her mother and father divorced when she was six and her mother remarried when she was ten and her father never did. she's never been one to believe in love as she's never seen a good example of it. she's pretty much neutral but kind of believes in the views of the exterminators as she's pretty much afraid of anything non-human.

QUIN is a hard ass, stuck up, stubborn man. he's got no real moral value and believes anything but a human is an abomination. he's seen enough over the years to know the difference between humans and everything else so getting it past him is kind of hard. he has a nice side to him around some people but it's hard to get to has he's always careful with his emotions and showing weakness.

* shy for the most part
VON STURGE is sweet and shy for the most part, he hasn't had too good of a life as he was abused by his father for about four years when he was younger. a vampire half breed, RENEGADE(2), caught onto the abuse one night and attacked his father, killing him and VON STURGE has been grateful to her ever since. looking up to her as an older sister of sorts. thanks to her he's well aware of other supernatural creatures and hates what the exterminators are trying to do.
